100% Passing Rate for MVC-SON

Last June 3-4, 2018, the licensure examination for nurses took place in different parts of the Philippines. At Cagayan De Oro City, 29 nursing graduates of MVC from the school year 2017 and 2018 took their life-changing examination. Few weeks later, the result was released, and the blessing of answered prayer was heard. The 29 first takers of the examination passed the board exam with one making it to the top 7 list. The question is how did they do that? Let us know their journey and be inspired by their story.

Prof. Leonila S. Reyno, the dean of the School of Nursing, shared that the journey of the reviewees always started with a morning devotional at Jubilee Park at 5:00 o’clock. After worship they do physical exercise, which includes walking, jogging, and playing sports within the vicinity of the campus. Before the review sessions, students will again have their devotional.

For the first few weeks, they did a review of the SDA fundamental beliefs and doctrines. During Saturdays, they join the fasting and prayer group at the Alumni Church to ask for knowledge and wisdom from our God Almighty.

The weekend before the board exam was well-spent. Friday, they went for community service. Saturday, they joined the church service at Garden Church of the South Philippines Union Conference (SPUC). A special message and prayers by our ministers, facilitators and teachers were offered in behalf of the examinees. Afternoon of the same day, a spiritual retreat was held at Pryce Garden, Cagayan de Oro City.

On the day of the board examination, the ministers uttered a special prayer for the group before entering the examination room.

Through God's grace and by making Him the center of all activities, and for praying without ceasing, God answered all their prayers.
