School of Education Clean-Up Drive

Malingon Falls. A sight of true grandeur. A product of nature at its finest. Also it was the location chosen by the School of Education to conduct their clean up drive with the purpose of preserving and protecting the fauna and flora by cleaning and removing trash that could contaminate and pollute the area.

The school of education started their journey on Sunday morning, the 27th of March 2017. They first gathered at the tennis court where the general orientation was held and was headed by the faculty members Prof. Olivia Vasquez, Dean of the School of Education, and Asst. Prof. Joy Sumagaysay. There they instructed the students what and what not to do on their clean up drive expedition. And thus they then started their epic journey to the two famous falls of MVC. As they tread the way, they picked up trash and residue. The students happily hiked the dirty road leading to the falls with great enthusiasm.

Upon reaching the twin falls, they were separated into groups and were assigned areas to clean. The same thing happened when they reached malingon falls. After cleaning their respective areas, the students gathered to get ready to go back home.

The school of education faculty and students went home with a contented heart for a job well done, knowing that in little ways they have helped keep the environment clean. The give of nature that our Lord God gave to us.
